Students and Parents,

Our students continue to do amazing things both in the classroom and out! Here are some quick highlights:

• 236 students made Honor Roll from Semester 1. We will announce the date and time of our ceremony soon!

• 24 MPHS Choir members participated in the District 9 Honors Choirs. A huge congratulations goes out to the following students for making the 2023 All-Virginia Honor Choir: Neena Clark (Alto 1 representative), Sarah Damon (Alto 1 representative), Freya Davies (Soprano 2 - 1st alternative), Myles Lanier (Tenor 1 - 2nd alternative), and Kevin Munoz-Mondragon (Tenor 2 - 2nd alternative).

• 6 MPHS student-athletes are competing this weekend at States in Wrestling and Swim. See more information below

Looking ahead over the next couple of weeks:

• Presentations for parents and students regarding the 2023-2024 course offerings will be February 21 and February 23 at 6:30pm in the auditorium at MPMS.

• Course selections for students in grades 9-11 will run from February 27 through March 17 during 2nd block.

• Quarter 3 Interims will be February 24
